Kevin Magnussen (Retired, L6): 4/10
The British Grand Prix was a short and not particularly sweet experience for Kevin Magnussen, who collided with his Haas team mate Romain Grosjean while running through turn 5 for the first time. Both cars sustained punctures and pitted for repairs, but the damage was too great and Magnussen was the first to formally retire after just six laps. There's not really any gloss you can put on the outcome, or even the rest of the weekend in which the Dane was slower than Grosjean in FP3 and qualifying - despite the fact that the Frenchman was running older specification aero parts at Silverstone. The impression is that the team as a whole has lost its way amid an unseemly breakdown in relations with its title sponsor, and that it's all taking its toll on someone who used to be a reliably aggressive and effective driver.
