F1i's Driver Ratings for the 2019 British GP

Kimi Raikkonen (P8, 4 pts): 7/10
Ending first practice in 18th position after limited running for the Alfa Romeo was definitely not the way that Kimi Raikkonen wanted to start the weekend. A better FP2 followed, but he was lagging again in the rain-affected final practice. In the ensuing qualifying session he narrowly failed to make it into the final top ten pole shoot-out round and was even narrowly pipped by his team mate Antonio Giovinazzi. An unhappy Raikkonen complained about the C38's lack of speed and resigned himself to a difficult race on Sunday. But from such meagre scraps, the Iceman went on to fashion a veritable banquet for the team on Sunday: he kept plugging away all afternoon and made solid progress throughout the race to emerge with four championship points. He even said some nice things about the car's handling in race trim, while still lamenting a lack of straight line speed.
