Lance Stroll (P9, 2 pts): 7/10
We can't quite get a grip on Lance Stroll this season. He impressed in Melbourne when he out-performed his experienced Racing Point team mate Sergio Perez, but then fell into the doldrums in Bahrain and Shanghai where he was much less competitive. But then we get to Baku and he puts in a very solid Sunday afternoon's work to pick up two very commendable and important championship points, despite a relatively poor showing in practice and qualifying up to that point. Perhaps we shouldn't be all that surprised, considering he made it onto the podium when he raced here with Williams in 2017. It shows that there's definitely something about the Baku City Circuit that brings out the best in him. That said, he was still rather far off matching the superior pace of Perez, who is another driver with a strong record racing in Azerbaijan.
