Antonio Giovinazzi (P10, 1 pt): 8/10
Just a few weeks ago, Antonio Giovinazzi successfully secured his first F1 championship points. This weekend he passed another landmark in his Formula 1 career as he led the Singapore Grand Prix for four laps, his first time out in front. While it was the result of successfully supersizing his first stint on a set of medium tyres, it was nonetheless a genuine achievement within the context of the race. His eventual pit stop dropped him back down to 12th place leaving him with more work to do, and a clash with Daniel Ricciardo didn't help matters. It left him with damage to the Alfa Romeo that held him back in the closing laps, but he still walked away from the race with another point in his pocket. Added to that he was convincingly better than his veteran team mate Kimi Raikkonen throughout the weekend, with the singular exception of FP3 which went against the run of things. Overall it was a very strong showing for the Italian, who is continuing to mature nicely.
