Kevin Magnussen (P17, Fastest lap): 7.5/10
Haas actually showed some promise in Singapore, although it took some time to emerge. Kevin Magnussen was in the bottom five throughout all three practice sessions in Singapore, only to spark into life in time for qualifying in which he got through to Q2 - which was more than his team mate Romain Grosjean was able to do. On Sunday he was made up multiple positions at the start and was running in the points when he made his pit stop on lap 18, after which he continued to perform strongly following a switch to hard tyres. Unfortunately in the closing stage of the race an errant plastic bag wrapped itself around his front wing, and with his tyres degrading fast Magnussen was soon plummeting down the order. Forced to make a pit stop to take care of the problems he also switched to a set of soft tyres which at least allowed him to set the fastest lap of the race on lap 58 - but since he finished outside the top ten, he gets no points for his achievement.
