Nico Hulkenberg - 15th place - 7/10
Having produced a good lap in qualifying to reach Q3, Hulkenberg was one of the victims of the first lap jostling which saw Bottas hit Hamilton. The German damaged his front wing as many drivers tripped over each other in to Turn 1 and was forced to pit at the end of the opening lap. Force India’s Bob Fernley felt Hulkenberg was simply unfortunate, as the extra pit stop effectively ruined his race.
