Jenson Button - DNF - 6/10
Button will be left frustrated by a power unit problem which brought an early end to a race weekend which had promised much on Friday. Third place in FP2 increased expectations as Button targeted Q3 and praised the progress of the McLaren-Honda. However, qualifying was not as successful as planned and Button was beaten by rookie team-mate Vandoorne on Saturday. Had managed to get back ahead in the race but was unable to hit back against the Belgian as he was forced to stop on lap seven.
