Romain Grosjean - 5th place, 10 points - 9/10
The Haas fairytale continues and again it is Grosjean who is delivering the goods. The Frenchman admitted it was a bittersweet moment to celebrate getting knocked out of Q2 in ninth place but it gave him a number of strategic options and Haas knew exactly how to exploit them. Three stints on the supersoft were maximised by Grosjean’s understanding of the compound - something he says is a strength of his - while he also had to pull of a number of overtaking moves as a result. Faultless again, which was just what Haas hired him for.
