Daniil Kvyat (P10, 1 pt): 7.5/10
If it wasn't for Robert Kubica's story, you'd surely think that Daniil Kvyat's return to F1 with Toro Rosso was the least likely comeback story of the decade. By all accounts the 24-year-old is a wiser, cooler and more patient driver this year than he was back in 2017, and that translated into an quietly efficient drive that saw him climb up from 15th on the grid to a points-paying tenth at the line. If it hadn't been for problems in Saturday's qualifying session, Kvyat might have done even better. He's certainly taken care of the first order of business by comfortably beating his rookie team mate Alex Albon in their first head-to-head battle, and Kvyat promises to be even better next time round in Bahrain.
