F1i's Driver Ratings for the 2019 Australian GP

Kevin Magnussen (DEN) Haas VF-19.

Kevin Magnussen (P6, 8 pts): 8/10
There was some steely driving on display from Kevin Magnussen on Sunday, which is what we've come to expect from the hard-as-nails Dane. This time it was Nico Hulkenberg who felt the full force of K-Mag's aggression when the two tangled for position after their respective pit stops, a battle in which the Haas driver came out on top. It set him up for a stand-out sixth place at the finish, which means he was the fastest driver in Melbourne outside of the Mercedes, Red Bull and Ferrari line-ups. The chances are that his team mate Romain Grosjean would have been close by at the finish if not for another self-inflicted pit stop wound by the team. All things considered it's looking very promising for Haas and for Magnussen in particular, as they set sights on fourth place in this year's constructors standings.
