Esteban Gutierrez - 11th place - 7.5/10
Gutierrez started to run out of patience on Friday when he was hit by more reliability problems for Haas, but he bounced back with an aggressive race performance which so nearly resulted in his first points for the team. A long first stint saw him run as high as sixth and after his first stop he muscled his way past team-mate Romain Grosjean at Turn 5 with some light contact between the two. Haas tried to run long on the medium tyre for the final stint - promoting Gutierrez to eighth at one stage, but the strategy didn’t pay off as he eventually slipped back to 11th, powerless to defend from Button and Kvyat on fresher tyres.
