Jolyon Palmer - 13th place - 7.5/10

While Red Bull was winning with a Renault power unit in the back, the constructor was struggling with an uncompetitive car all weekend. Palmer made a few small errors in qualifying which cost him a spot in Q2 but fought back well in the race on a two-stop strategy, holding off team-mate Kevin Magnussen in the closing laps. Racing director Frederic Vasseur called it “his best performance to date”, but it came in a race where 13th was the prize.
