Rio Haryanto - 17th place - 6.5/10
Another encouraging qualifying for Haryanto who was less than 0.2s off his highly-rated team-mate despite the gulf appearing much greater between the two during pre-season testing. The race saw the gap grow as Haryanto was the only driver to start on mediums and ran long at the start in an attempt to finish on the faster soft compound, but it didn’t work and blue flags and traffic saw him shuffled back quickly.
