Kevin Magnussen - 15th place - 7/10
Not Magnussen’s strongest weekend but the Renault strategy really didn’t help matters. Having done well to progress to Q2 - feeling he got the most out of the car - Magnussen was unable to get the medium tyre to work properly and even tried the hard compound which also proved to be slow. Tried to fight back against team-mate after a late stop for softs and made a slightly desperate attempt to pass at the chicane on the final lap, forcing Palmer off the track - which he owned up to in the Stewards’ office - and receiving a 10-second time penalty.
