F1i's Driver Ratings for the Brazilian GP

Charles Leclerc (P7, 6 pts): 9.5/10
The highlight of the weekend for Charles Leclerc was surely that astonishing lap in the second round of qualifying on Saturday, in which against all odds he improved his time sufficiently to make it into Q3 despite deteriorating weather conditions. In a rookie season already remarkable for its successes, that is perhaps the best of all. He didn't waste the opportunity when it came to the race itself, conducting a convincingly calm and orderly campaign to finish in seventh place as best of the rest after the top three teams - and right behind the man who will be his team mate in 2019. Judging from this weekend's performances alone, Sebastian Vettel will definitely have a handful at Maranello next year.
