F1i's Driver Ratings for the Brazilian GP

Daniel Ricciardo (P4, 12 pts) 9.5/10
Another race weekend, another grid penalty for Daniel Ricciardo, who had been forced to take a new turbocharger after damage to his old one at Mexico when the marshalls were a little too effective with their fire extinguishers. That cost him a five place grid penalty for Brazil and he started the race from 11th place. But that's just a normal day for the Aussie, who knows exactly what to do in this sort of situation. He quickly scythed his way through the field to inherit the lead of the race at the midway point before finally making his first and only pit stop of the day to switch to soft tyres. Unfortunately he was only able to recover a couple of positions in the remainder of the race and just missed out on a podium position, but it was wonderful to watch and no surprise to see Ricciardo's high beam smile at full strength in the paddock afterwards.
