Pierre Gasly (P13) 7/10
A strong showing in qualifying saw Pierre Gasly get through to the final round top ten pole shoot-out, which bears well for Toro Rosso and in particular Honda's hopes for 2019. But the race itself didn't go so well, with Gasly losing places on the opening laps. He regained some of the lost ground after his first pit stop when he ditched the troublesome supersofts and ran the rest of the way on mediums, but by the Frenchman's own admission "we're a bit disappointed with the way the race unfolded." That said, he kept at it and wrung the most out of the STR13 that was available to him on the day.
