F1i's Driver Ratings for the Brazilian GP

Sebastian Vettel (P6, 8 pts) 7/10
It was one of Sebastian Vettel's least convincing performances of the season, and you might have assumed that the wind had gone out of the German driver's sails after his defeat in the drivers championship to Lewis Hamilton. But in fact the problem lay elsewhere, with a sensor problem that showed up the minute that the Ferrari stuttered when trying to get underway on the formation lap. For the rest of the afternoon Vettel was forced to adjust his driving style simply to keep going, and as a result he wasn't a match for the Mercedes or Red Bull cars - or even his team mate, whom he graciously allowed past after the pit stops in order to pick up a podium place for Ferrari. Not a great day for Vettel, then, but not as bad as it might have looked at the time.
