In the lead-up to this weekend’s race in Las Vegas, a wave of curiosity swept through the racing community as everyone pondered the unexpected presence of a wedding chapel in the Grand Prix paddock.
Speculations and wonderings filled the air, but these were put to rest on Thursday by 1997 F1 World Champion Jacques Villeneuve and his partner Giulia Marra who tied the knot in the kitsch little chapel.
As the couple added an endearing touch of romance to the high-octane weekend, Villeneuve was flanked by his best man, longtime friend and Ferrari engineer Jock Clear.
The lovebirds were given the full F1 treatment, complete with an intro worthy of a podium celebration, followed by the classic "Here Comes The Bride" serenade.
Adding a twist of humor to the matrimonial mix, the ceremony was officiated by none other than an Elvis impersonator—because, naturally, nothing says "forever" like tying the knot in Vegas with a side of rock 'n' roll flair!
