Monaco's historic Grand Prix literally takes place on his doorstep, so Mika Häkkinen was overjoyed last weekend with an opportunity to hustle an old racer around the Principality.
His ride? A McLaren of course. Häkkinen, who won in Monaco in 1988, was behind the wheel of a superb 1970 M14 which is part of businessman Roald Goethe's impressive ROFGO collection.
The Finn generally proceeded with caution during the event's Heritage Parade, but still occasionally lit up the car's Cosworth engine and rear wheels, much to his and the spectators' beaming pleasure.
