Recognise this driver behind the wheel and in action at the AvD Old Timers Grand Prix at the Nurburgring this weekend?

Despite the Formula 1 summer shutdown, there are some people that just can't stay away from the race track. So that really is McLaren CEO Zak Brown who is firesuited and booted, and with appropriate head wear ready for some serious racing action this weekend.

He and his fellow United Autosports co-owner Richard Dean are sharing driving duties this weekend in two lovingly restored classic cars, the Ford Capri Brown that you can see him seated in here, and also a beautiful curvy Chevron B16.

Brown managed to qualify for Saturday's race one in 11th place but unfortunately was penalised for not getting ot the grid on time and made to start from pit lane instead. But you can't keep a true racer down, and Brown managed to make his way back up to 10th place by the chequered flag.

He'll be having even more fun on Sunday - and it's surely much more enjoyable than endless rounds of meetings, media interviews and high anxiety on the pit wall during a F1 Grand Prix weekend!
