Mick Schumacher scored his first Formula 2 win on Sunday, winning the series sprint race at the Hungaroring.
The Ferrari Academy driver launched his race from on pole on the reverse-grid and fended off Carlin's Nohuharu Matsushita for the entire duration of the 28-lap event which DAMS charger and McLaren junior Sergio Sette Camara finished third;
"Amazing race!" said the 20-year-old old son of F legend Michael Schumacher.
"The car was great, thank you for the team. Credit to Nobu who kept me entertained. It wasn’t easy.
"I am just so happy. Quite hard. Obviously the tyres were degrading and not easy to keep them alive, always having pressure and checking mirrors. It was entertaining."
