A week off from Formula One means that Lewis Hamilton has some time to himself which he can spend in New York City. While he might be mobbed by fans at a typical Grand Prix, he seems to have no problem going undercover and avoiding any unwanted attention by travelling incognito on the NYC subway.
Hamilton posted this picture of himself on social media wearing a hoodie, jeans and brightly coloured footwar as he waited for a train at Houston Street station in the Greenwich Village district of Manhattan, only a mile from New York's iconic Times Square.
The 31-year-old will be heading to Shanghai in the next few days, focussed on making sure that he doesn't lose out again at the start of the next Grand Prix with another poor start as he seeks to reignite his 2016 Formula One world championship bid for what would be his third title in a row.
