There are aspects of Silverstone that are unique on the calendar. Due to the size of the circuit, logistically, getting from one corner to the next takes a very long time. It’s not the longest track of the year, but many of the longer tracks tend to turn in on themselves, so it’s easier to get from one vantage point to the next. The shuttle buses get stuck with public traffic on the perimeter road so everything takes longer. Here, you’re lucky to get to two corners in a session.
I also get involved in more guest photography, taking photos of team sponsor guests, simply because there are more of them here. I also make a point of going into the crowd to take photos, because they are so enthusiastic here and there are probably more national flags here than at any other race. They’re very passionate.
