While Hamilton secured his fourth win of the year in front of his home crowd, Silverstone saw a threat from Red Bull in wet/dry conditions. Rosberg fell foul of new radio restrictions to be demoted to third behind Verstappen, leaving Mercedes with only two one-two results from the first nine races of the season.
