Sebastian Vettel suffered an uncomfortable moment in free practice yesterday afternoon when a burning sensation suddenly set his bum on fire.
The Ferrari driver was running around in FP2 when he reported that "something burst", and said that "there's acid or something on my seat".
Upon returning to the pits, Vettel extricated himself from his SF70H and a white patch on his overalls was clearly visible.
A rapid check by the Scuderia's mechanics yielded a leak from a recalcitrant fire extinguisher.
"Some screw came loose and obviously the pressure found its way out which wasn’t that pleasant for me," Vettel, who wasn't exactly happy in the case to be flying by the seat of his pants!
