Hollywood legend Kirk Douglas who passed away this week at the age of 103 has left a legacy of outstanding films.
'The Racers', directed by Henry Hathaway and released in 1955, cast Douglas as Gino Borgesa, an intrepid hot-head driver who struggles as much on the track as he does away from it.
It's a cheesy flick but the film offers some decent period F1 footage at such iconic venues as the Nürburgring or Monaco. A must for Spartacus' and Van Gogh's fans, and for Bella Darvi's luscious curves.
