The 1984 Monaco Grand Prix took place on June 3 and is widely remembered for the emergence of Ayrton Senna and Stefan Bellof. Bellof (pictured above during the race weekend) was the only non-turbo qualifier on a grid of 20 cars and climbed from last on the grid to third in the wet before the race was stopped. He was later stripped of the result as Tyrrell was excluded from the 1984 championship.
