Ron Dennis might be on his way out of McLaren on somebody else's terms, but he is going in his own style. Dennis has been forced to step down as chief executive officer and chairman of the McLaren Technology Group, but he made clear in a statement on Tuesday night that his departure was based on "entirely spurious" grounds. Dennis also made clear McLaren hasn't heard the last of him, adding: “I will continue to use my significant shareholding in both companies and my seats on both boards to protect the interests and value of McLaren and help shape its future ... In addition I intend to launch a new technology investment fund once my contractual commitments with McLaren expire."
