Hamilton close to perfection
Lewis didn't achieve a full house like he did in China but it was a flawless performance nevertheless. Four pole positions and three wins in four races is almost as close as you can get to perfection. Since the start of the season, Hamilton has led 168 of the 227 laps and scored 93 out of the 100 available points.
His pace is impressive, as is the manner in which he controls his races, like after his lengthy pit stop on lap 15. Furthermore, he's also taking full advantage of the Ferraris' competitiveness as Rosberg is forced to fend off their attacks, while also falling victim to the Silver Arrows' brake issues at the end of the race. Bahrain was a great race for... second place!
Hamilton now has a 27 point lead over his team mate, who must be feeling the blow. It can all turn around on a dime of course, with a mechanical problem or some other incident, but Lewis really appears out of reach.
