I decided to photograph the start of the race at the most famous corner in the world. What was originally the Lowes Hairpin, is now called the Fairmont, and I took this shot from the roof of the hotel. I decided to include the fans in the foreground for the start of the race to give a fan-eye view of a classic corner.
