Nico Rosberg: “That was not a very exciting day. We just tried to do a little bit of something for our fans who were there in the grandstand supporting us, and they’ve had a terrible day out there.
"You don’t see anything from inside the car, so I don’t know exactly what is going on, and what state the front wing is in, and it is our procedure to make sure that the feedback comes straightaway. If they start to expect that I know something, that is when things will go wrong. So just get the information out there even if it might look stupid in some cases."
Lewis Hamilton: “I think [Sunday] will be pretty sick. I think it will be interesting, hopefully the weather will back off and it will be a little better tomorrow. You imagine if it’s raining in the morning then it makes the qualifying a little more of a lottery but I’m just hoping for a better day, a bit of sunshine would be great!”
“I've driven in the wet a lot so I know what I need to do, but every time I know that it's going to be raining it's like a little warning sign. It's hazardous out there, it's really difficult to keep the car on track but what I do love is the challenge of going and trying to find the grip; that's always been a strength of mine since I was a kid, to go out and find the grip where others perhaps wouldn't find it."
