The latest edition of fashion brand Tommy Hilfiger's online documentary series #WhatsYourDrive has given fans of Lewis Hamilton from around the world a chance to tell the driver what he means to them.
Fans young and old filmed video messages in which they describe how his example has helped them meet challenges in their own lives.
From achieving success in their own sporting and life endeavours, to overcoming setbacks or personal tragedies and even recovering from cancer, they talk about how Hamilton's "Still I Rise" motto has given them the strength and inspiration they needed to succeed and thrive:

It would be a hard person indeed who didn't find they inexplicably had something in their eye and possibly a small frog in their throat after watching the end of the video compilation.
And Hamilton himself is no exception. With the cameras trained on him for a reaction, all he can say is: "Wow."
He subsequently found his voice in a message posted on social media on Tuesday afternoon, which also includes the full video for you to see for yourself what people had to say to the four-time world champion.
