Codemasters has released a video of its latest simulation of Vietnam's Hanoi circuit as it will appear in the upcoming release of the F1 2020 software.
Hanoi was scheduled to host Vietnam's inaugural F1 Grand Prix in April, but the event was postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Formula 1 is still in the process of building its 2020 calendar which could include a round in the South-Asian country.
In the interim, Codemasters revealed in-game footage of the 5.6km street circuit designed by the services of F1's resident architect Hermann Tilke and which includes purpose-built sections inspired by existing circuits such as Monaco, Suzuka, Sepang or the Nürburgring.
"We’re always excited to create new experiences for our players," said game director Lee Mather.
"Hanoi delivers both thrills and challenges, set against the backdrop of the stunning city skyline.
"It is an adrenaline rush with high speeds, long straights and heavy braking zones, but it will punish anyone who doesn’t respect the walled sections."
Carsten Tilke, managing director and partner at the Tilke company that created the track, added: "Hanoi Circuit offers a unique city circuit layout with several overtaking possibilities and high-speed corner combinations.
"Codemasters has done a great job recreating Hanoi Circuit, and the track will provide a new challenge for all players."
F1 2020 is set for a July 10 release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC and Google Stadia. The game will feature F1's the original 2020 schedule - including Zandvoort.
