Billy Monger walks on stage, like a boss

Teenager racer Billy Monger walked on to the FIA's prize giving stage last night in Versailles surrounded by the thunder of a standing ovation.

Just eight months after a horrendous crash at Doningtin Park, which led to the amputation of his lower legs, shattered his life, Monger was standing tall.

As he enjoys a new dawn to his life and career, the amazing 'Billy Whizz' put away the wheelchair and donned his new prosthetic limbs to receive a special award for his remarkable courage from FIA President Jean Todt .

He's coy on his plans for the future, but a wink and a big smile were clear give-aways that racing shall once again soon rhythm this extraordinary young man's life.
