A stunning design, from any angle...

Our tribute to Dan Gurney could arguably last forever, but we'll end it here with this picture from Monaco in 1967.

Ron Dennis once said the Eagle-Weslake was in his opinion the most beautiful F1 car in history, a claim we won't deny.

Designed by Len Terry, the Eagle T1G was striking, clothed in dark blue with its distinctive beak-shaped nose. But seen from behind, this blistering fast bird of prey was equally stunning, with its sophisticated set of chrome-crafted exhausts.

The Eagle was simply the embodiment of Gurney himself, a man who blended a keen sense of aesthetics with his engineering ingenuity.
