Two-time F1 world champion Graham Hill was born on this day in 1929. Hill - who was killed in a plane crash at the age of 46 - won the title in 1962 and 1968, with the latter an important achievement for Lotus following the death of Jim Clark earlier that year. The British driver was victorious around the streets of Monaco five times in the 1960s, earning him the nickname 'Mr Monaco'.
