A testing new street circuit

Some of F1's most successful forays into new territories have come thanks to spectacular street circuits, but there have also been a few that didn't work out quite so well. Attempts to take the sport to Texas back in the 1980s saw the Dallas Grand Prix take place in 1984 around the city streets, but searing heat and problems with the track surface ensured it was a one-off and never returned.
