…the future

Two very impressive Toro Rosso youngsters so far this season, will it be hard to keep them motivated when you have a new line-up here?

“It’s great to have that issue, isn’t it? I think we’ve got some really exciting talent within the Red Bull pool at the moment and they’re all jockeying for positions, which is - from a team principal point of view - a fantastic position to be in.”

Where can the team improve aside from the power unit?

“You can always improve in all areas. It’s not one specific area, it’s every area that we want to keep moving forward, we want to keep progressing. Obviously this team has achieved a lot of success in the recent past, it’s had a tough time this year but everybody is focused on getting back and challenging again for victories, for championships. There’s a real belief that we can do that.”

Hungary showed the potential?

“You can see on a track that isn’t dominated by power units - of course it’s still a factor but much less of a factor - and we’re a couple of tenths off the Mercedes.”
