Toro Rosso took up its option on Carlos Sainz over the summer, perhaps to the Spanish driver's displeasure as he feels his career is going nowhere fast at Faenza. For all his messy races and mishaps, Dany Kvyat still appears to be in Red Bull's good graces. But a contract has yet to be extended. If it isn't, Pierre Gasly could finally step up to the big time.
