Ricciardo’s hydraulics woe was Kimi’s joy, because there was not a chance of him moving past Daniel for fourth in the championship without it. Beaten by the Aussie in Q3, he couldn’t keep up in the race. The Iceman crossed the line a distant 20-seconds behind Vettel, while also having to keep an eye on Verstappen.
