It’s been a steep five-race learning curve for the promising Frenchman, and his car wasn’t worth a hill of beans at Yas Marina. After a disappointing P17 in qualifying, Pierre slogged his way to 13th before spinning his STR12. He then locked up under braking, which cost him three spots, and was relegated thereafter to the back of the pack.
