HELLO HALO 2
At the Red Bull Ring, Ferrari sampled a refined version of the Halo cockpit protection system, which is on course for introduction in 2017. The titanium-made upgrade features a thinner upright and smaller joining section to offer better visibility for the driver. The Scuderia only brought the device to Austria in order to test how quickly and easily the driver could clamber out of his car, but it should run the system at Silverstone in a few days.
