Remembering Bianchi's finest hour in F1

Bianchi Monaco

Jules Bianchi only started 34 Grand Prix with Marussia during his all too short Formula One career. But that proved enough to leave his mark on the sport’s history. His finest hour came during the 2014 Monaco Grand Prix, where he drove a cracking race to pick up the squad’s maiden (and so far only) championship points. On what is perhaps the most difficult track in the world, Bianchi starred in the narrow Monte Carlo streets and secured ninth after 78 gruelling laps. The Frenchman had actually crossed the line in P8 but five second were added to his race time for serving a penalty under the Safety Car. This was an all-around stunning performance.
