Nico Hulkenberg's path to F1 and his eight-year career at the pinnacle of motorsport was supported by long-standing German sponsor Dekra.
The vehicle inspection company's brand - which had previously established itself in F1 thanks to the massive success of Michael Schumacher - will no longer be seen on the Hulk's cap in 2019.
But the Renault driver showed his appreciation for Dekra's support over the years, posting a time-lapse picture of himself on Twitter showcasing his personal sponsor and a few heartfelt words.
"End of an era with a great Partner! Thank you for 13 memorable years together."
