FORCE INDIA’S SERRATED RIMS.
Force India’s VJM10 was sporting serrated rims on the rear wheels in Brazil. The rationale behind the design is to optimise tyre cooling while also helping vent out the heat coming off the brake disks and tyre rubber. Red Bull has been using a similar solution, albeit with perpendicular striation.
One shall note that most teams are packaging the inner face of the rim in a similar manner.
