Could it have gone any more pear-shaped than this ? Hydraulic failure in qualifying put Grosjean at the back of the field, but Romain worked a miracle to be sixth, heading towards his first points score of 2018 when the safety car was called upon. Inexplicably, he managed to ease his Haas into the Baku City wall as he was warming his Pirelli tyres!
