After being scared nearly out of his race boots in Q1 when he came upon his struggling team mate at +300kph, the Gas man picked off 7 cars at the start, but Honda’s lack of power on the straights was too much of a handicap. He was still in with a shot at a digit at the re-start when Magnussen put him into the wall.
