BAR
BAR ran a similar livery to the one recently unveiled by Renault back in 2004, with a predominantly black car being tested in pre-season on what was the BAR005B. Once the team officially launched the BAR006, the race livery was unveiled in Barcelona in February.
The car was very competitive, with Jenson Button taking third place in the drivers' championship behind Michael Schumacher and Rubens Barrichello. However, Ferrari's dominance ensured there were no wins for the team, and even though it beat Renault to second place in the constructors' championship it would be the latter which ended Ferrari's dominance the following year.
