F1i's Driver Ratings for the 2024 Belgian GP

Daniel Ricciardo, RB (P10, 1 pt): 7/10
What a difference a place makes. When he crossed the line in 11th position, it looked like a solid day's work for Daniel Ricciardo, well ahead of his RB team mate Yuki Tsunoda who was having a bit of a nightmare weekend, but still not quite the top ten finish he would have been hoping for. And then of course came news of George Russell's disqualification, and things suddenly looked a whole lot brighter for Ricciardo as he flew off for his summer holidays with a shiny new championship point burning a hole in his pocket. It came after a slightly mediocre qualifying and dropping a place to Valtteri Bottas at the start despite being the only driver on softs; but an early pit stop and a solid second stint set him up for a good finish which got only better after the chequered flag.

Esteban Ocon, Alpine (P9, 2 pts): 7.5/10
Things didn't get off to the best start for Esteban Ocon at Spa, with a water leak on his Aston causing him to miss out on virtually the whole of first practice. But he bounced back in the afternoon and looked a solid contender for the top ten from that point on, duly making it into the final round of qualifying and running a good race with some lovely moves down the Kemmel Straight to pick up some handy points for the team heading into the summer. Ocon was justifiably delighted to claim his first points since Spain, and looked as happy as a little kid in his Deadpool-inspired firesuit this weekend. He should wear it more often, if cosplaying as a superhero gives him gives him such a welcome boost.
